Obliterated Power is a suite of three silkscreens over large-scale photographs published by the Lower East Side Printshop. The photographs are architectural and visual projections of the three branches of American government and power—the US Capitol, the Pentagon, and the US Supreme court. The three buildings are obliterated through vigorous gestural drawing. The drawings were translated into layers of subtly colored screenprints, printed over the archival inkjet photo background. The prints are 27 x 40 inches.
