White People Can’t Be Trusted with Power

White People Can’t Be Trusted with Power is a conceptual text based project. It was initially made as a public art project commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, a theater in New York, NY. The project was an installation of two artworks. The works installed were “White People Can’t be Trusted with Power” (2021) and “Imagine a World Without America” (2006). The works were installed April – May 9, 2021. In 2024 a carved limestone version of the text was commissioned by A/Political.
